This is the top of my sleeve.. It’s the tail feathers of the phoenix further down on the arm, plus some of the artists special cherry blossoms. It was my first tat, and it’s done by Noi Siamese 3 from 1969 tattoo in Oslo, Norway. He is an amazing artist, and did the whole thing freehand. Usually he would make the tail feathers smoother, but I wanted them more cartoony, as the rest of the bird has outlines as well. He took one look at my sketch and went on it. Flawless. He is now working on my backpiece……
