virtutesvirtia:

there are so many stories
that deserve to be heard
before this monologue
of a fool in love

but the script is running
and no one can deny us
what in our words were made
- two poets living in their writings -

… and it all started
in your words
or maybe in mine
- yet, today that doesn’t matter -

expressions of burning anguish
feelings consuming us
and now they rest in these verses 
- I know, it’s not very original -

but every love story seems to be so,
they start with absence
up to a great longing …
